Gravestone Maintenance

You can’t always be there to
show you care.

Time and the elements can make your loved ones’ gravestones difficult to read. Flat stones can begin to sink below the surface, causing them to become lost under a carpet of grass and dirt. Keeping them clean can be a lot of work, and that’s where I come in!

For raised headstones, I will clip the vegetation around the base if necessary, then clean the stone with gravestone-safe solutions to remove biological growth, dirt, and iron deposits.

For stones flush with the ground, I will make sure it is visible, contacting the cemetery for re-leveling if necessary. I will clean away the dirt and grass from the edges of the stone and then clean the stone itself with gravestone-safe solutions to remove biological growth and iron.

I also provide decoration services, like planting and maintaining flowers when allowed. In cemeteries that only allow artificial decorations, I will add them and be sure to have them removed at the end of season before the deadline.
